LG has annouced it will be rolling out an Android based tablet by the end of this year. Previously it has only released Windows based tablets but sees Linux as a great way forward. Requiring less power and mainly used to access the internet and media applications makes Linux the ideal choice. Not only does it allow users to customise their devices but also keeps the costs lower than proprietary software.
