Faster, Stable Google Chrome 3After a year's development, a new, stable version 3.0 of Google's open source Chrome web browser is now available. Developers promise "significant speed improvements," although the most noticeable changes are the many crash fixes. Users who are thinking about installing the latest Google Chrome release should be extra careful as this release is not intended to be run in work environments, the list of changes do not really make it a necessity to install Google Chrome 3 yet either. But once Google Chrome is installed you will notice many visual changes e.g. the new tab page supports a new look so its easier to use, and easier to customise. Google program manager Anthony Laforge announced in his blog posting, "this stable release incorporates many of the improvements and features that we tested out in our most recent release, including a 150% increase in Javascript performance since our very first release.”
